Storing Electronics in Attic.. question

Would it be a problem to store a television and a DVD player in my attic? It gets pretty hot up there in the summertime.. could this affect the units?

Thanks.

Prolly won't hurt it, but extreme temp variatons make things shrink/swell. Not good for circuit boards in my opinion.

Define "hot" around here, an uncooled crawlspace might reach into the 130s...that might be a problem. If we're talking 90's tops, youre probably fine....

Temps around here hover around 85-90 in the summertime (South Jersey). The attic does have a fan.
