10 years ago when I was married my husband and I got into a major fight. He said some pretty nasty things to me and walked out of the house slamming the door on his way out. I cried for hours. After all my sobbing I went into our bathroom picked up his toothbrush and used it to scrub the toilets in our bathrooms. That night when he came home I watched him brush his teeth with that toothbrush. He finally came to bed. Believe me, we did not kiss, he was still mad, and I went to bed smiling! LOL

Yes, I know, it was evil. But it made me feel better! 🙂

I heard this story a long time ago, and it may be apocryphal:

There was this elderly man whose wife had died some years back. Her thing had been gardening, and he had faithfully maintained the beds in the front yard that she had loved so much. The lot was on a corner, and one of the beds was right out in the corner between the two streets. It had some flowers and a few shrubs that she had planted.

There were some kids on the block with what we called muscle cars back then. For some reason they took to cutting that corner late at night and wiping out the old man's flowers and shrubs. Each time he replanted and fixed things up, but a few nights later they would hit it again. The cops came by from time to time, but nobody ever caught them at it.

One Saturday the old guy's son was seen out front with him working in the yard, but nobody paid a lot of attention. They sort of shook their heads and assumed he was helping the old man fix his beds once again. That's what they thought until late that night, about 2:30 AM, when everyone in the neighborhood heard a tremendous crash.

Seems that the old guy's son had buried two 10" diameter steel sewer pipes vertically, and filled them with Quickcrete... behind the shrubs.

I worked with a guy who lived on a corner lot on a farily busy road. It was a four way intersection and people would cut through his lawn so they didn't have to stop or to get around stopped traffic. He went to home depot and purchased two 4x6's, green spraypaint, and a bunch of screws. He screwed them into the board at an angle so that you had a nice x pattern of screws. Before he went to bed he would place them in his yard and during two weeks he "caught" three different cars.

at summer camp, this one older kid pushed us younger scouts a little too far. he would hide dead fish in our tents, mix tabassco in our ketchup, put vasoline in our shoes, tie our packs to trees, etc...so we had enough after almost a full week of this. We caught 2 ratsnakes and took about a dozen feeder mice from the snake exhibit area. So on the last overnight, we waited until he fell asleep, and then we released the mice on one side of the tent. we waited a few minutes to let the mice get spread out and then put in the two ratsnakes on the opposite side. ratsnakes are not venemous, nor can they really even bite deep enough to cause a human to bleed, but they are fairly aggressive. anyhow, there were about a dozen of us waiting outside the tent. nothing happened for a good ten minutes and just when we were starting to lose interest, we hear him scream in a pitch almost inaudbile to humans. he jumped up so violently he knocked the cross pole out of its holder, so the tent starts to fall inwards. he stumbles backward, scrambling to get out, kicking and screaming for a good 20-30 seconds, then we hear this loud ripping noise. he cut through his tent using his pocket knife...hehe. we got in a lot of trouble over it, had to get him a replacement tent, but it was well worth it.

Romans 12:19 (referencing Deut. 32:35) says "Vengance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" - I try to keep this in mind when dealing with those who have wronged me.

However, I'm not saying I've done this perfectly.

While I haven't done much as a result of personal grievances, I do not appreciate the massive amounts of junk mail I receive. But, those who send me junk mail are usually kind enough to give me a business-reply envelope, for which they pay the postage. So, I take these business reply envelopes and send them back. Only, I haven't filled out the form they've given me or sent anyone any money. I send back toilet paper, toilet paper which I have used. I call this "Poo Mail?".

Just imagining the look on someone's face when (s)he opens that envelope makes me have to stifle a giggle every time.

The last time I sent any Poo Mail was over a year ago, but I did it fairly consistently for the year preceding that.

My brother had the same situation going on a few years back, it didn't happen all the time so we knew it was probably just a few people. So one weekend we rented one of those digging machines and dug a huge 10x20x3 foot hole. We lined it about half way with those pond liner plastic sheets, then we filled it with water, about 2 feet worth, and covered it up with some fake grass sheets we bought supported by a few 2x2s. we threw our garbage in there every day for about a month and BAM one night... omfg it was great man.
