Like a lot of people here, I have a large amount of cables and computer parts that I just don't want to part with. Extras that come with motherboards and cases yada yada. Also tons of audio video and computer cables.

I really want to find a way to organize this stuff nicely. Anyone out there have a good solution?

I sorted all my stuff out a while back and put it in boxes. Labeled the boxes. Now I can find stuff. It's nothing fancy, but it was cheap, and it worked.

dumpster.

For expansion cards, I built a rack from scratch.

What kind of containers? Id like to have something that's all together. I had put everything in ziplock bags but they've gotten dirty I guess and they're hard to see through. Also, everything is just thrown into a bigger container so I have to drag everything out to find that s-video cable I'm looking for.

I usually keep the motherboard box and all the stuff that came in it, and throw the rest of the manuals and cables and such that go with the computer in there.

A few more small cardboard boxes full of cables and hard drives.

The rest -->

haha yeah I have tons of motherboard boxes as well.

I think maybe just labeled boxes as deerslayer suggested might be the best thing to do.
