I've been an avid treadmill runner for a few years now, doing about 3 miles a day at a relatively slow 6 MPH.

I mixed it up a little and started running outside and I guess the impact screwed up my ankle, so I've had to stop running completey for a few months now. Funny thing is I've lost more weight since not running then I have with the consistent cardio daily. I was kinda plateaued while running, but w/o I'm actually losing wieght, and I'm talking pants fit better kind of weight. I've been a very conscious eater throught all of this usuall one meal a day at night ( my metabolism is slow and sucks ass so I can''t really eat more then that)

IS this strange or what?

I highly doubt you are losing that much muscle in only "a few months". If you are only eating one meal a day, and at night... it is probably due to starvation.
Of course, starvation mode usually takes most of the calories from your muscles... sooo... maybe it is muscle weight.

If you want to lose weight, you need to eat like 6 meals a day... about 3 hours apart. It cranks your metabloism up real high.

Only one meal per day? That doesn't sound too healthy... Is that all you eat, or do you snack throughout the day too? I would agree with the others and say you are losing muscle.

You have a massive calorie deficiency. Your body is catabolitizing your muscle to make up for the lack of calories. One meal a day? What are you, anorexic?

hardly, about 5'8" 155, used to be 205.

the thing is, I never get hungry, I kinda eat for the sake of eating. I rarely get like growling stomach hungry. its almost frigthening.

I do snack and try to keep those snacks healthy of course, but lunch is almost always skipped

Don't know about you but my appetite goes way down when I can't run regularly. Running also makes me crave salt like crazy (which makes the body retain water). So when I don't run I eat less and consume less salt - both of which will make one lose a pound or two.
