Stop XP from coloring New Programs in Start Menu

This is really annoying, since it seems to never go away. Almost all my programs are in ugly orange on the Start Menu-->All Programs. Anyway to stop this?
 
I dont use the XP start menu, I just use the classic.. but I looked around, and this may be what your looking for.

Right click your start button and go to properities. Click the Start Menu tab. Click Customize (the one that is lit up). Click the Advanced Tab. If there is a check mark in `Highlight newly installed programs` remove it and ok your way out and see if that will do it.
