I guess you probably don't have control over this, but if you do can you PLEASE stop with all the flash ads? Firefox has been crashing A LOT for me recently when I am browsing this forum.

I disabled flash and now I get maybe 1 ad every 5-10 pages, but the important thing for me is Firefox no longer crashes.

I don't care about the ads as long as they don't break my browser. Disabling flash fixes my problems.

Do you think AT / Purch is intentionally serving Flash-based ads that crash browsers?

I think that you should post in the Computer Help sub-forum. Sounds like you have something wrong with your PC.

Of course not. This should be in the suggestion box maybe. I don't really care, don't use flash usually, I am not losing anything by turning it off. It is easy to turn back on when I need it. They are the ones losing the ad revenue.

My computer works fine, certainly not going to try to "fix" it so I can view ads.

If you say so... It's not like there's a whole bunch of people here complaining about online Flash ads crashing their browser of choice. Just you. So it's very likely that the problem is YOUR PC.

Edit: I would start by un-installing Flash, update your browser to the newest version, then re-install the newest version of Flash, and test.

Then I would check your RAM, your HDD/SSD, and especially, your CPU and GPU temps.

You might also disable "Hardware Acceleration" in Flash, that can get rid of a bunch of bugs. Also, consider disabling the same in Firefox.
