You live near the San Andreas fault line. The fault line was there first. If you don't like it, move out. Don't bitch about it.

Yeah....no. Not really.

What is it with New Zealanders? Always so "know-it-all-ish" and hateful?

I'm sorry, can you point to San Diego for me, please? Is it not right there in the little corner, close to a fault line?

So I got the name wrong. That doesn't change the fact that the fault line was there first.

It's not near it. LA is. San Diego is closer to other faults. Stop being a typical NZ know it all.

If the ground shakes ... that mean's it's probably angry. Sacrifice some virgins to the nearest active volcano, that'll satisfy the gods, and then the ground will stop shaking. Also, there will be good crops and lots of rain.

I just pat the earth and tell it to simmer down. Sorry guys, if it's a long earthquake, it means I'm upstairs. It takes me a while to get to the ground floor.

So, should I be thanking you for all the rain we've been getting here this year too? My raspberry bushes are thriving, my strawberry plants are groing insanely fast, and my trees and grass are super green ... and I haven't watered shit this year even once...

They've had 6 asphalt rollers working in front of my building the last two nights and still four more nights to go as they are adding 2" to the boulevard. Shaking? I can hear my spoon shake in my tea cup in the cupboard and my computer chair occasionally feels like it's on vibrate. A large window spiderweb-cracked (but did not break) this morning at the Department Of Defense building nearby. :D

Spoons have no business being near tea cups!
