Wow. I can really see why this place is going downhill fast. All the "good" folk have left for various reasons and now this attitude? Way to go, kill the forums quick why don't you?

Try the other side of the fence for once....

Having to deal with constant trolls, spammers and ungrateful punks day in and day out tries ones nerves. There is a REASON the forums were down, why not cut the staff who does all the work here some slack instead of whining that you couldn't get your fill from the babe thread for a few hours....... Go to google and fap to VS images for a bit and relax, they always come back online soon.

Besides, they could just say screw it one day and shut the whole thing down. Who would you cry to then?

Keep in mind that those that run this place in the background are volunteers so their free time to do such items would usually fall on the weekends when they are not working their real jobs. I'm sure their sole intent is not to spend a weekend trying to tidy up this place then listen to the whiners for weeks after.

For whatever reason, the clientelle and discussion quality deteriorated shortly after the move from FT. I blame it on the loss of nested quoting, makes it too hard for serious people to follow discussions so they just gave up.

People take this place WAY too seriously.
While I agree it's pretty much gone to crap the last couple years, it's certainly not because of the software or downtimes.
Just go do something else when it's down (which is the midle of the night for most users).
