Stop-motion classics!

I'm planning on watching a bunch of old adventure movies from the 50s-70s over the long weekend. I'm looking for stuff with like effects Harryhausen's classics. Bonus points if it's based off mythology or a Jules Verne book. So far I've got:

Jason & the Argonauts
Clash of the Titans
7th Voyage of Sinbad
Mysterious Island

Any other suggestions?

Those are all good ones, and pretty much the cream of his work. What I've read about the rest place them more at the Ed Wood level of plot development 🙂

The Golden Voyage of Sinbad wasn't bad, and you might like the Thief of Baghdad even though I don't recall any stop-motion, just photographic effects for the giant genie, magic carpet, etc.

Yeah, they don't really have to be stop-motion, I'm just going for those fun action-adventure movies (mostly) based off of classics of literature. I'm considering throwing Swiss Family Robinson and 20000 Leagues Under the Sea in the mix as well. I probably won't have time to watch all these this weekend, so I'll probably just throw some in my Netflix queue for another rainy day or long weekend.

Thanks for the recommendations.

Faust has a lot of stop-motion animation with clay. It's a wierd movie about a guy that sells his soul to the devil. A lot of crazy marionettes too, though they are not stop-motion.
