Stop Log On Screen From Coming Up?

I was playing with user accounts and set a password for my (admin) account. I deleted the password but the log in screen still comes up. I don't have to enter a password, just click OK, but it is slowing my boot times down. I assume it is looking for the network (as Win 98 did) and then connecting.
How do I get rid of the screen?
I am the sole user of the machine and I am the admin.
