My local ABC affiliate did the same thing the other day for some nightime soap. I couldn't believe it... Must be a new trend.

That is the reason I only watch BBC World News. Their news is ACTUALLY news, not stupid crap about tv shows and celebrity spottings.

American news is such a joke. They should take note of other countries news programs and try to follow suit.

And stop showing Katie Couric up close!
She was good looking on Today... where the color scheme was warm and she was zoomed out from the camera... but now that CBS brings her closer to the camera and has the cold color scheme... she is scary looking. Her face is crooked and she talks out of the side of her mouth.
