For those crying onto their keyboards about the high prices for x2's keep in mind that when AMD launched socket 939 the cpu's were really expenisve as well and the 3500+ was all that could be bought.

Now a 3000+ can be had for $146.00.

I predict that in the next 6 to 12 months the price will fall or a 2.0 Ghz model will arrive.

Prices always drop. Officially, the X2's won't be launched until June, and they will probably come down in cost before then. At present, the prices aren't set in stone.
