Stoopid ?, but what is purpose of LEDs on mobo (edit: mods pls move this to NF7-7 thread

Couldn't find it in the manual, search didn't help. So, can somebody explain what they indicate and when they should be on? BTW, I got my nf7-s in an couldn't get it to function, so had to rma it, but the led that always stayed on has me really curious if there was a short.

Edit: Mods, can you move this to NF7-S thread?. I tried to post there but screwed up somehow

The red and green leds are normal ...
Those are working fine...

Red is standby power.
Green is also on when operating.

Both should be lit when running.

Only Red is on when powered down.

Both are off when PS is switched off or unplugged.

That red LED along with the NIC LED's are the most annoying features of the NF7-S.. I wish those lights would just DIE!! lol... They shine right into my eyeballs when i'm trying to sleep.

Thanks, thats exactly what I needed. Now why isn't that in the manual? Anyway, I was worried about that the red light being even when it was powered down.
