Anyone using this product? What do you think of it? Is there a reason that I shouldn't buy it?
I've had the demo for a while (I've 1 day left) and it seems pretty okay. It looks like it does everything Nero/Ez CD does but for less money. ($40 download or mail order. $50 in store.)
My only complaint is that the audio cd wizard won't let me pull tracks off my (home) linux server. ("Copying tracks from network drives is not supported." Or something like that.) But you can just kill the wizard and add the tracks by hand. (Or, in my case, just use Music Match.)
It also likes to default to Verifying the CD. This is probably not such a bad thing. But I'm currently thinking that the 7 minutes it takes my 12x plextor to write a disk is too damn long (too quick to leave the room and too long to want to sit there waiting for your disk to finish) and I'm even less inclined to wait for it to verify it.
I'm just looking for EZ CD Creator 4.0 (Not deluxe) functionality under Windows Xp (here is a hint: Don't load EZ CD 4 under Xp. You won't like what happens.) but I don't want to spend $70. Are there other options I should look into?
Thanks.
