Stomach Pains :( UPDATE: diverticulitis

Ugh, I just want to roll up in a ball and dieeee. Pepto isn't working, can't take aspirin, and having to completely pack up and clean the summer house for the year then drive in 3 hours of slow traffic didn't help either. Maybe posting will make me feel better? Stay tuned.

Dunno, can't say I've had them before so not sure what it feels like. I just got over a nose/throat cold so thought maybe it just made its way down to my stomach.

Severe stomach pains/cramping. Nausea and number two. Ending up curled up on the bathroom floor. A bad gallstone attack, where it is causing a blockage is hard to describe to someone else. For me it was pain and the feeling of someone trying to inflate my abdomen.

when mine was so bad I couldn't even stand or sit up... let alone make a post about it. I was going from the toilet to just outside the bathroom on the floor trying to get some gas out. Back and forth for over 30 minutes.

It was just really bad gas pains accompanying bad diarrhea (for days). At that point, nothing was coming out, absolutely nothing.

Have you eaten something that might cause it? greasy/etc?

Don't think so, mostly it's cereal for breakfast, salad for lunch, grilled chicken for dinner. Though I do eat red meat and pizza on occasion.

Could be gallstones. Check with a doctor when you get home.

Yup, gonna call tomorrow since his office was closed today. Not bad enough for a trip to the ER, thinking it will be a tough night for sleep though.

Well the pains only get real bad when I try to make #2, otherwise it's just a constant tight/upset stomach feeling that only contorting my body in weird positions seems to relieve temporarily.

Know a lady with stomach pain, went to see a doctor and after all the diagnostics, came back with state three cancer.

I hope your problem is not as serious.

Is there liquid-like stuff coming out of your ass? If so, Pepto isn't going to cut it. You need Immodium.

That's all I've got for you.

Can we have your stuff if you die?

Hope you're feeling better soon. I had some bad heartburn this morning, not really how I'd like to start my day.

Throwing out something else:
My dad had some bad pains awhile back from food poisoning. Did you eat anything suspect today?

Mine felt like someone was stabbing me in the stomach. I thought it was food poising, but the pain got to be overwhelming so I went to the ER and found out I had stones which needed to pass. At first I tried to do #2 repeatedly which seemed to make it worse, hot shower didn't help either. The labor pains were to great!

yikes, sounds terrible. Did they give you meds or you just had to pass them when they were naturally ready?

Not really, I had off and on slight pains for about a week after getting over a cold. They weren't really a big deal just uncomfortable so I figured it was just the cold affecting my stomach now. Stomach felt fine when I had the sore throat/coughing/running & stuffy nose going on.

you should be glad you didn't have a kidney stone.

That pain is simply off the charts.

They gave me a anti-bacterial shot like 2 hours into my stay. The pain went away after 20 minutes of the shot. It was torture waiting for the shot though, I just laid in the bed squeezing the rails and kicking my feet to try to alleviate the pain.

A couple of weeks later the stone passed like a shooting star. Everyone said passing a 5mm stone was going to kill, but it didn't at all. The day of the ER was the worse pain I ever had.

EDIT: Correction, I had a kidney stone, not a gaul stone.

thank goodness it wasn't a gaul stone. Those French ones are cheese eating surrender monkeys.

Freedom stones!

LOL
