It's not me, it's my brother. His roommate just called me to let me know he's going take him to the emergency room. I was just wondering if it's the flu or something else.
 
Well, in all seriousness, that is a good idea.

I would expect him to have a fever, but that may come later.

Thing is that there are lots of infections and conditions that could be the cause. Best to have it checked out professionally, as is being done.
 
Tips for Overcoming the Flu

*Drink lots of hard liquor. Its anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties will minimize time you are sick. Its also soothing on the stomach, and will keep you hydrated.

*Eat things such as Lobster, Custard and Triple Fudge Cake. Rich foods have alot of nutrients in them that you need to get well.

*Dont fall into the trap of resting in bed. You can excelerate recovery by doing vigorus exercising such as jogging or chopping logs.

*Go to public places and touch every door handle, elevator button, and food product. The more people you expose to the flu, the faster the populations immunity will develop.

*Try to avoid sleep as much as possible. Remember, every hour you are asleep resting, the flu is also resting for another wave of symptoms when you are awake. Dont give the flu the luxury of rest.

*If you find yourself becoming tired and nodding off, do something to stay awake. Driving and/or Operating heavy machinery is always a good way to stay awake. CAUTION! Do not drink and drive!

Looks like it was the flu. He was waiting for two hours in the waiting room because there were two heart attacks and a crazy woman ahead of him. He's hooked up to an IV and getting some meds, all should be fine.
