Stolen ebay picture

This guy has been using pictures from my server for his ebay auctions, so I changed one of them today. Where it used to be a picture of a laptop battery, now it says, "Win this auction and I will send you 5 batteries plus a brand new laptop". Quite a deal, see it HERE.

lol u should put a picture of an apple logo next to it

Too obvious.. shoulda done something more subtle

Or! You could have replaced it with pornography- that would get the guy kicked off of ebay 🙂

I am so tempted to bid......
You know, I could actually use one of these batteries for my old Thinkpad 765L. I was going to bid on it then leave him negative feedback when I didn't get the "Free laptop" but shipping is $18.

I don't want to revive the old thinkpad that much.

Kinda reminds me of the guy who was selling $1000 projectors... someone started stealing his images... so he put "buy one get one free" on the image.

If I remember correctly, if you bid on the auction with something like this in the description and the seller doesn't correct it by the end of the auction, you're legally entitled to get what was offered in the auction. (or some form of renumeration(sp?))

eBay's TOS just beg for this kind of retaliation against bandwidth thieves.

Whatever happened with that?

is the pic removed? i dont see it in the middle
It no longer looks like a picture. Read the text on the left hand side in white background in the middle. Its right under one of the PC Worldwide pictures. It took me 5 or 6 reads through to spot it since I was looking for a picture.

That's good! Serves him right. One thing is to steal your photo, but another is to link it right off of your server for his auction. What an idiot.
