Weber Center?

Nah, as in the thing they're building downtown. They had that huge tent thing collapse and then they're working on shutting down all those slums and whatnot... at least the last I knew of it.

when mrs. spamela & i go there for dinner we always try to get out of town before sundown - the restaurant we like has a security guard in the parking lot at all times.

Heh, I grew up in Stockton. I far prefer it to the very tranquil Gilbert, AZ. I also miss the diversity in Stockton. Everyone out here is White. Anyways, what restaurant do you and Mrs. Spamela go to? And Robert, the gun and dog thing... don't work.

it does if the gun is a 10 gauge hand cannon and the dog is a mastif. brother i am from brooklyn. and it works. you just gotta make sure that everyone know that you know how and are willing to use the gun. we used to target practice with our hand cannons on roof tops turning pigeons into piles of blood and guts.

I told you. People don't care. My grandfather been robbed so many times it ain't funny. He got two Pitt Bulls and sleeps with a .357 and has a 12 guage behind his couch cushions. People have tried to rob him when I was there... the dude tried to use the bat against the .357 I had... heh he ran off when I lifted it at him.

Nah he had a cheap metal thing... stupid guy. Tried tricking me grandfather by saying he just wanted some food. Yep, just wanted some food.

Stockton is a very interesting city. Very interesting . . . their concepts of wealth, their sluggishness, the gloomy atmosphere at some areas. I don't like to see the beggars all the time. The people are so slow and inefficient, but they don't give a hoot. You see the poor here with high rate of crime and about 5 minutes away the rich. I get so scared downtown sometimes . . . LOL!

Well, I do like the city to some extent, but I prefer Lodi. I love the water in Stockton. They are such beautiful views. That's what I would always admire about the city. There's also the so luvly Delta College. It's such a beautiful scene of nature. UOP isn't half as beautiful. And UOP is too dull for me.

Now that I know you're coming to town, I think I'll have to double the locks on my door. Stockton folks are very scary. *Shivers!* LOL! 😉 Thanks for the invitation, though. 😀

Heh, yes downtown can be scary... and Delta is far prettier than UOP as UOP is very drab. Although the houses around there are nice. On Lok Sam's is good stuff. Manteca... good lord man that places has more cows than Gilbert, but it doesn't smell nearly as bad. Anyways, no one wants to meet up? Oh, and Lodi sucks. Way too small-town.

Went to the 99 Speedway with one of my mom's boyfriends when I was little. Two of the drivers were playing chicken and one of them died. Anyways, I was just glad to go home at the time because it smelled bad and was too loud.

I'll be coming back up after finals. For a week maybe. I gotta find out when Delta starts summer school, I might attend.

DRAB? I guess if you think historic, ivy covered brick buildings surrounded by lush walkways and greenery are dab... heh heh. j/k
Both campuses are nice, and Stockton really isn't that bad of a place these days. I hear they are working on revitalizing downtown, and putting in a huge 7 screen multiplex and everything down by the delta. The big tent thing you were talking about is also a very nice park now too. I would definitely take a drive downtown if I were you. As long as you are careful, nobody really bothers you... plus there are some great eats downtown! 😎
