Stock market looking pretty cheap?

What stocks are good buys now?

For me it looks like INTC, Ebay, Amazon, and Yahoo are good deals.

Buy into companies that you're emotionally attached to, or ones everyone else is buying, that usually works out well.

i bought INTC. looks like a good deal.

i agree with cjgallen in that you should look into buying stocks of companies that you believe in. if you tend to like their products or services, there's a good chance that others do too. this usually means that it's a good company. so, as long as they have good financial strength and reporting, good products & services, loyalty from customers, and is priced just right, i think you should go for it.

I don't even so much as dabble anymore, but when I traded, MY theory was "Everyone has to eat, and someone will need to clean it up".
Meaning: Safest investments are in food related industries and Chemical cos.

(Was given several shares of Pilsbury once. Worth less than $1, sold 3 years later just after it went to $68) 🙂
