NSFW as major F bombs fly.

Oh, and he is not trading stocks per say but the Russel 2000 (ER2) fututes contract.

He is long 10 contracts (each contract = 100 per point) as the market crashes.

I support Ron Paul, but some of his supporters are crazy as hell. I don't remember Ron Paul predicting that some guy was gonna lose $40,000.

Correct. He's long 10 ER2 contracts (Russell 2000 index futures, which is the small cap index). Closed Friday at 674.75, his screenshot shows the B/A at 654/655 Link. Guess he was looking for the dead cat bounce, since the R2K went officially bear market last week, but doesn't look like it worked out for him.

Could have been worse, he could have written puts in which case they might get exercised and he'd be getting assigned right now

Way off topic, but why does everyone say "change" like it's a good thing? I don't want change, I've never wanted change, I want improvement. What's interesting is that no candidate since Regan has promised me improvement, and by golly not a single one has improved anything, a perfect record.
