Stock question

I would guess why they have so many symbols is because they trade shares on so many markets. I guess quantity is better than quality, strangly it also applies to their products sometimes.

they are symbols for the different world markets, nasdaq and the nyse arent the only two exchanges out there.

I you were to look carefully at the link provided, you'd notice about 6 "Samsung Electronics" just on the KSE which is one exchange. Not sure why they list so many and which stock consitutues the core company. I have looked at thier annual report and no information as far as ticker is provied. I understand the country listings, but since it's not listed on our two exchanges with any pricing I must look to other markets.
