Fed lowers rate ...
Fed lowers rate ...

Threaded in there, depending on the day (everything is a crisis of course) ...
Oil crisis
Housing crisis
Loan market crisis

Was all this just a value adjustment ... I would have expected some of the recent big gainers to fall a little more (google, apple, vmware) and not rebound as fast.

I'm with you ... I have mutual funds in my IRA ... in it for the long haul ... but I like to watch the market ... ups and downs are intriguing ...
