Stock market simulator?

i want to play the stock market (ie: daytrade), but i dont know anything. are there stock market simulators that allow me to play w/o putting any real $ into the market?
 
Id like something like that too, id figure now is the best time if any to buy up a bunch of stuff on the market. Its all cheap!
 
just use something like my.yahoo.com, pick your stocks, enter the # bought and at what price and see if you make any money.
 
i used to know a site...did it for a high school class...but that was my sophmore year...im a freshmen in college now😱
 
yahoo used to have an investment challenge thing... they ended that last year tho 🙁 it was probably the best one on the web
 
yrs ago when I was working at a national computer store chain, I told the simcity rep that they should come out a simstock game, and players can win prizes, and the top winner gets a million dollar or so, but he thought I was crazy. oh well 😉

Etrade used to have a stock market game, I remember playing it around the time of the dot-com bust. I was sure glad I was playing with imaginary money because I had been kicking ass and all of a sudden I was in the negative. 🙂
