Stock heatsink question

Hey gang. I just bought an I7 930 and an Asus P6T mobo.

I won't be able to get an after market heatsink for another week or so. But I really want to go ahead and install the mobo and processor today.

Do you think it would be smart to use the stock heatsink for a week and then switch to the aftermarket one?

I won't be overclocking with the stock one of course, but I just wanted to make sure this wasn't a bad idea for some reason.
 
Yeah that's what I'm thinking.

I think I'm just a lazy a** and don't feel like cleaning/reapplying the thermal paste.

But I'll man up and do it.
