Stock grille be gone!

Well it's about time I got off my lazy ass and got something done on my ride.

After numerous complaints DK's customer service center has received from fellow ATers 😛, I would like to inform fellow ATers that the blasphemous stock grille has been banished to a dark cellar never to be seen again (OK well, maybe on Ebay at least 😛), only to be replaced by an ass kicking CTS-V grille that I powder coated black. I hope you enjoy our latest offering and do know that we at DK enterprises continuously strive to meet your expectations!

Bonus DK announcment:

DK enterprises has as of last week acquired a one front and a one rear CTS-V stabilizer bars (for a mega killer price) that are due for installation this week to better meet your expectations

Cheers! 🙂

^ Damn right Howard. Here is my plan of attack as I see it:

CTS-V Stabilizers swap ---> HIDs + clear side markers ----> Cut muffler tail to weld CTS Sport tips ----> then probably Rims will be the final touch in the looks department for this CTS.

Please, do the HIDs right if you insist on doing them. Get some good projector headlights.

**Note** It appears you might have projectors already (im tired). If so, carry on! :awe:

Yea the CTS comes with projectors. The standrad headlight is the H11 in a projector body. HID is optional.

So you can get a cheap HID kit and install.

I don't think HIDs are that simple. Just because you have stock projectors, doesn't mean the HID option uses them.

It does depend on the projector, but a good halogen projector housing works pretty well with HIDs. Note, this does not mean aftermarket ebay halogen projectors since those typically suck.

Doesn't the XS just mean extra lifetime or something?

In most cases the extra letters are for life/brightness/etc... but in this case the 9006 has a 90degree angle to the tail while the 9006xs is straight.

Most don;t and many that have done it used a cheap eBay one that rust. The OP coated his so it should look much better, esp over time, then many.

Negative. I've seen plenty of metal ones. And what's worse is when a car noob says, "Hey look! A CTS-V!!!!" *Face-palm.

Well, I am pretty sure when someone is hoping to make others think he has a CTS-V, he would keep the Mesh chrome and he would plant some decoy V emblems. Clearly not the case here.

And plus, since when does car noob's opinion matter? You can trick a car noob with a V emblem alone, no V-grille needed IMO.
