Stock cooler good enough?

Looking to OC a Athlon-XP from 1.7 to 2.0

Have it running stable so far, but was wondering if the stock cooler and HSF will be up to snuff for long term use. I have got 3 80mm case fans providing cooling (1 intake, 1 exhaust, 1 direct onto the MB), and all wires have been cleaned up out of the way.

Well check the temps by fully steressing the cpu, using prime 95 or another prog, (i donno what good temps are for athlon xp's 😛) if its under like 60C or something it should be fine.

So long as you don't have to use too much vcore, it'll be plenty. If it is a t-bred A, it will be more stressful, but most B's could do 2ghz on fairly moderate voltage no sweat, and ran cooler too.
