Stock Antec P150 PS + Epox 9NPA+?

Are people having problems with this combo? Is that Antec PS just bad with certain boards, or is it just bad? Any idea if Antec plans on resolving the problem?

yes, the neohe is having severe problems with everything...don't get the p150 yet. people have gotten "revised" replacements taht are still broken.

Bought that exact combo two weeks ago from Newegg, works like a charm.

One small hiccup on the first power up where it did not start right up. ALthough I think was an error on my part since this was the first comp I built.

Good luck.

Or if the power supply doesnt work you can rma it and try the updated version. I know it seems like for some people the updated version corrects the problem, but I have also read at least one person who supposedly got the updated version and still experienced issues so your experience could vary.

Bump for more thoughts!

I still want the P150, but should I buy another PSU? If so, suggestions? I'll be running an non-SLI board with a 7800GT, X2 4400+, DVD-RW, HDD.

Just to ice down the Antec 430 PSU.

Search our General Hardware forum for Antec 430 PSU.

Google Antec 430 leaking caps. Read. The type of intermittent problems this PSU has, has cause
many to pull out clumps of their own hair.

In the last two weeks there has been maybe six threads in GH about this PSU.

Reccomended=Fortron, Sparkle, Enermax, Seasonic, Zippy/Emacs. OCZ provides fantastic RAM. Their PSUs are not near as good.

ribbon13 over in GH rates Seasonic very highly. They are in the top 10% of all stand alone PC
PSUs. They are quiet and efficiant but not that expensive.

All the Seasonic pics at Newegg show no modular units in the Seasonic line-up.
