Stock AMD heatsink fan replaceable?

OK a few months ago I purchased a retail (socket 754) Athlon64 3000+. The noise of the fan hadnt bothered me until recently. Its starting to sound like crickets almost and I dont think dust build up is the issue I think its just on its way out or something. I was wondering if it was possible to just replace the fan, or since its screwed into the heatsink in such a crude manner does the entire thing need to be replaced as one unit??

The fan on my winchestor comes off rather easily. Shouldnt be to much of a hassle
