edit: actually it looks like a sting ray. never seen one that big in person though.

In all seriousness though it does make you that that a stingray would be a really unplesant creature to piss off, and makes you realize that even if it was a freak accident it's not that difficult to understand just how that ray killed irwin. Seriously, i don't care if they only do that when they're spooked, anything that big with that much of a natural weapon does not get close to me.

how about black widows? found a cure after they studied the widow spiders more? I don't know about a the rays though... sea diving can be a great sport, but man, it can also be quite dangerous...
