Thanks to my teammates and OhioDude for the help and stats.

Best regards from South Florida with not power, I'm thinking to move to NC (for real)

Sorry to hear that Eltano.

If/When you move I hope you have a safe journey. I don't think I will ever move into the south again...too many weather oddities. (Hurricanes, tornados ugh)

Good luck

Had no power here after Katrina for 3 weeks.

DSL & phone never went down though so got the Internet with Generator 🙂

Be prepared for state income tax and somewhat colder winters. (not like Alaska, but colder than Fl.)

I have a friend that bought a house and is moving to FL. Maybe you can off-set that migration............😉 😀

Still no power, and talking with my wife and two boys about relocating. My wife works in a Bank and making good mula, more than me. And my older son is a Firefighter and Paramedic, also making good mula, so it will really hard to accomodate both of them. One alternative is moving without my older son, but I will need to find a place for him, I don't want to leave him in the street, especially noe that he just started his career and have a few debts to paid for.

"It is always darkest before the dawn."

Hang in there. After you get your utilities back you will probably feel a little different.

I hope so, it seems that getting older make me feel in ways that I never though I would. I'm a optimist and I always see the glass half full instead of half empty (if you know what I mean) but this time something has changed inside of me that I don't like it -

thanks guys for your support

best regards

I don't know what is worst . No Power or no water. We hated both after Ivan. Heck we was without power for three day from the last one that hit your part of the woods Greg. bty NC gets hit also. Remember Hugo.

Freewolf, you are right about the water, fortunally that is not my case, but 10 days without power is a pain - And I forgot that about Hugo, but is not as often as here, and I will like to move in central NC, like Charleston or west of it -
