Still waiting on Pro2A...grrrrrr.... (+ new questions)

OK guys, I'm starting to get real antsy here. I placed an order over a week ago and am still not seeing them get any of the MSI K7TPro2A in stock. However they do have the Abit Kt-7. It's tempting to go with the Abit because they have it in stock, but don't want to settle on something I might not be happy with.

I've got to find a reputable place that has the MSI in stock for a decent price. ACK!

Just purchased the K7T Pro2A from their. Had it in stock and shipped last Friday (should be here this friday, can't wait.) Price was near the bottom of the price range ($114.75 + shipping.) Plus they have a very good rating on ResellerRatings.

I must be a patient man. I ordered it from a local store 3 weeks ago and he spent that time waiting for his distributor to get it. Now he'll buy it at another location. Aw well, in the meantime, my trusty P3B-F isn't hurting me and I might get a later revision and later bios and 4-in-1 drivers on the CD.

I placed the order with TC Computers. I had heard good things about them and many folks I know had ordered from them in the past. I can't knock them. It is an extremely popular mobo. I'm just very impatient and hate not knowing EXACTLY when I'll get it. Oh well, maybe I'll catch up on some of my whistling while I wait.

Two questions though...is there an immediate way to identify if it's a 2a or 2? I have a funny feeling it might not be the 2a. Second, when getting merchandise like this, do they usually require signatures?

one good clue is that the box says pro 2a, just kidding, there will be a sticker on one of the bridges saying ata-100, if not look and the bridge should say 686B somewhere on it. depends on how the package is shipped, ups and fedex you have to sign unless you leave a note, usps will just leave it, i think.
