which server on fileplanet?

i'm using the dedicated half-life2 server and only getting 30k/sec and it's 7am EST!

Fileplanet is the answer. I got the whole AWESOME 587mb HalfLife2 video in about an hour. You have to wait in a queue for a few minutes but once it starts it's 300K/sec unlike some of the fileplanet imitators like fileshack that will make you wait an hour, then limit you to 100K/sec and then drop you with no resume halfway thru. Fileplanet is the only reliable place for stuff that 3dgamers doesn't host.

I will never pay 5 or 6 bucks a month to download free stuff. I don't care if it does mean I get the Doom3 or Halflife2 demo 20 minutes after the suckers who pay for free stuff.

You got fileshack and fileplanet mixed up.
