Still trying to decide on a reasonably priced smartphone

I'm seriously considering a blackberry torch. They have refurbs available for 30.00 now with contract.

Any terrible negatives for these?

I've read lots of glowing reviews.

I'd like to know how the camera pics and video are if anyone knows 1st hand.

General gist I've got is it's slow with dated hardware and a shitty screen. My Mom went to buy one and walked out with an iPhone 4. Most reviews I've read seem to agree. But if your a Blackberry fan then it's probably what I would go with though.

Given the monthly contract cost and the opportunity cost of missing X months of upgrade time, why on earth would you get an already-outdated unit now?

Besides, a refurb Captivate is only $20 more. Unless you're enslaved to BB for work, it's 100x better.
