Continuing Saga.
My wife has an HP Pavilion A6120n with Windows Home Premium Vista 32.
With service Pack 1 the boot time became very long.
I cleaned up Norton.
I cleaned up the Registry.
I defraged the C Partition
I modified the Boot sequence. It was Floppy, CD, HDD.
I noticed that the SATA was set to RAID, but there is only 1 drive with 2 partitions.
She has 1 HP Printer and 1 all-in-one device connected. She gets messages that they are not connected, which they are, but not turned on when she boots.
She gets black screens between Windows startup activities. The last black screen shows the moving circle next to the cursor before the screen, icons(which fill slowly), background appears.
Any and all help will be much appreciated.
