On Verizon for quite a few years now and have been able to keep EN-MOU because I haven't technically changed my plan. I just got a new XV6800 and activated it - I'm worried they are going to charge me for kbs used instead of minutes. Is there any way to be sure other than asking them straight up? Any experience out there? I fear they'll forcibly remove the EN-MOU from my account if I call in and ask. Are they even allowed? I've been "grandfathered" over since they don't allow that on new plans.
I'm not willing to pay $45+/mo. for a data plan, just for my phone, just for internet which isn't used all that often. It seems whenever I start programs like google maps, it automatically connects and begins transferring data. I "checked my minutes" on the website and it shows data usage of 8kb so far. I don't recall if it showed it before I switched phones.
