I have posted my problem multiple times on a few other websites and have still found no answer. I receive the MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION error on my computer while playing two online games. My system specs are as follows: AMD Athlon 3200+, K8V SE Deluxe Mobo, GeForce FX 5200 (PCI), and 512 MB Corsair RAM. The line with the parameters reads: ***STOP: 0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0x80545FF0, 0xB2000000, 0x00070F0F). Any help is appreciate as I cannot play these games very well until this problem is fixed.

Is this a BSOD kinda error or is it a dialog box with one of those red and white x's?

That STOP error is common to HEAT problems.

Check CASE, CPU temps before and after (on BOOT, then Gaming).

Are you OC'n the processor or video card?

I am not overclocking anything, what is a good way to check temps? I was suspecting that could be it because if I opened the case and lay it on it's side, I would not receive the error as much (though still some). If it is a heating problem would doing something like putting a fan grill in the top to let hot air out and putting in another fan most likely solve my problem?

To monitor CPU, Case temps, system voltages, fan speeds, you can use
Asus's ASUS PC Probe that is on the CD that came with the motherboard.

Are you using a RETAIL BOXED AMD CPU (one that came with a AMD FAN)?
If yes, make sure that AMD Quiet & Cool is enabled in the BIOS.
If no, then you need to enable ASUS's Q-Fan Technology in the BIOS.
