Ok well there are two parts of this post:

a) is a radeon 9000 better than a geforce4 mx440 when both have 64MB DDR? (see poll)

b) I found THIS which i'll probably buy unless people say its not a good card relative to the geforce4. HOWEVER I cannot find a geforce 4 that does what I want.

Basically I am looking for something like THIS

but that in addition has a 2nd VGA or a DVI connector so I can put more than one monitor onto it.

So basically can anyone find me a dual monitor. 64MB DDR Geforce4 with TVOUT?

Thanks

P.S: PRICE IS IMPORTANT! I don't want to spend more than $100!!

Depending upon how much it can be found for, a PCI 9100 is the fastest PCI gaming solution there is, I'd suggest you look into, otherwise a $65 MX 440 probably would get you by.

I'd get a 9100 over a 9000 for sure, but I am not sure if you can get them in PCI form.. I really don't know.

but I'd also take the 9000 over the crappy MX440.

So, you want a decent PCI card w/dual monitor capability and TV/out?

You can check out my earlier thread regarding the FX 5200 PCI w/dual VGA and TV/out (pics included), which is going for $99 this week at CompUSA:

linky

The MX 440 PCI is faster in most cases than the Powercolor 9000 PCI. The problem is that the PC 9000 PCI has only a 64-bit memory interface. It's not as easy to read, but you can see some performance results for the 9000 PCI here:

linkified!

The FX 5200 PCI is about equal to the MX 440 PCI in terms of speed, which means it is definitely faster than the PC 9000 PCI, plus it has all the features you want for $99. Hope that helps.

EDIT: As a bonus, you get double the VRAM!!

It's too bad the 9100 PCI doesn't have TV/out. You could get the 64mb version for $99 plus a $20 mail-in-rebate.
