Still lookin for that special case

You know the one... 2 exposed 3.5 bays, 5 exposed 5.25 bays, 350w or better, good quality AND (and this is the hard part) a place on the front for those 2 new usb ports that these new motherboards are giving us.

That's a lot to ask, but this holy grail of cases has to be out there somewhere.

I screwed searching and decided to build my own.
All I really need case component wise is the power supply and switches and leds.

Go to the Cases and Cooling forum. They have some people that visit and talk about case modifications. Most people modify a regular ol' Enlight 7237 with such front USB and a better power supply. But I really do not know about the fifth 5.25 bay...

But sadly, I cannot do that with a video card. 🙁

I've had my eye on the Antec KS188 for size, but I'm cheap and don't need 350W. I'd rather have a monitor with a buiilt-in USB hub, too. I never know where my case will end up, I'd like to shove it into a cabnet or something so I can't hear it...

i saw a compaq once with USB, headphones, and game ports all in the front, was kinda convienient, but i dont know who made the mobo, and it only had 2 or 3 drive bays

If you're comfortable making the mods yourself, the SC750A is a killer case. It's expensive, but I love mine. I just haven't got the balls yet to hack it up.
