and want to know the best part?

When you get ahold of someone...there outsourced to India...so you can spend another 45minutes trying to tell them it's the power supply.

Ask them how the weather is over there and if they are underpaid compared to US tech support??

You're not the only with tech support problems.

just hang up and call again....if it's an hour already, it's a sure bet no one cares about your call.

Hang up, call again and maybe you'll get someone who cares enough to help you out.

It is crazy to hear about gobadgrs problem in another thread...then read about it here..in a thread dedicated to that very problem.

sounds like me the other day...I already knew the problem, but had to get my free replacement part, so I stayed on hold for an hour...plus the first time I got through, wrong tech support guy...it sucked

oh and just to clarify, I didn't buy a dell, my G-ma's business had a mini, Optiplex SX270 that she didn't want, so I got it, warranty and all...plus now it has a new mobo...sweeet. Oh and it was hilarious the techician came and replaced it, booted it and....tada Debian boots :)...little surprise for him.
