Still don't know if 750W PS is enough

Having read a bit of the detailed info kindly posted by jonnyGURU, (and understanding about half of it) I must still ask the question that is before me.

Proposed system:
NVIDIA 780i SLI Motherboard (trying to plan for the future)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (good price point until I can or have need to get a Quad)
Zalman CNPS9500 CPU Cooler
NVIDIA 8800GT 512MB (single - until I can afford a 2nd)
2GB Kingston HyperX 1066 DDR2 RAM
CreativeLabs XtremeGamer sound card
WD HD 320GB 7200RPM (until I can afford a second)
20X Dual Layer DVD burner
16X DVD ROM
Running XP Pro

Should I invest now in a 1000W PS or is a 750W plenty for what I have including the possible upgrades?

My Thanks,
John

I agree. For the quad core, two GT's and two HDD's, 750W is actually "overkill". You could easily use a very good quality 600W+ too.

Thank you both, Marc and Jon. Saves a bit of money! And thanks for the link - I'll check it out!
All the best,
John
