Still crashing after updating drivers

I had my new computer for a couple weeks and i am crashing on ut2003 and medal of honor.

comp. - 2.4g, 512 ddr memory, radeon 9000 pro video card.

I just updated the Directx and video card drivers.


I still crash on ut2003 and medal of honor after about 5 minutes of playing the game.

Any ideas??

have you tried playing any other games on it?? if so do they do the same?

Tried Nascar 2003 and crashed. It works ok for some of my old games, but all the new games with all the graphics are dying.

Strip it down to just vid card. If it still locks up try different vid card. If it still locks up try different RAM.

it sounds like you are over heating

Before updating the vidcard drivers, did you uninstall the previous drivers and control panel. Did you install both the updated vidcard drivers and control panel?
