Still confused about mobo

I like this mobo a lot, has the features I need, and though I will not go SLI at the moment, it's nice to have the option. My real questions are these:

I noticed the A8N is centered around nvidia. What if I want a X1900XT instead of a Geforce?

Also, if radeon vs geforece is an issue, what other mobo would be comparable? Isn't the A8N32 A pretty awsome mobo in GENERAL?

You can go crossfire (ATIs version of SLI) with the 1900xt if you bought an Asus A8R-MVP deluxe

an nForce mobo will happily run ATi gfx as will an ATi chipset board run a Geforce.
What you can't do at the moment (due to drivers) is run Crossfire on nForce or SLI on ATi chipset board.

I understand that they should be able to with driver support (afterall you can do Crossfire on an Intel chipset & supposedly both SLI & Crossfire have been shown working on ULi) but it's marketing/politics ...
