i have a k7-700,sd-11 and (pny)128 pc-133. i got this goldfinger from the computer zone, the setting is from 600 to 1100ghz and the voltage is from 1.75 to 2.00. i first set it to 850+1.85=hang,800+1.85=hang,850+1.75=hang,800+1.75=hang and i did the higher setting like 800+1.95 or 2.00=hang and so does 850+1.95 or 2.00. so in short nothing work. need advice on this.
p.s. did also on my 256 pc-100 and and nothing produce better.

You are more than likely going to have to lower the cache from the 700's stock 1/2 to 2/5. Most of the 700's that I had with the NEC 2.9 cache chips would do 850-872 MHZ or better at 1/2 cache, but it appears that yours may not have those.

I am not sure if the cache changing programs that are around support the SD-11, but you can try and see. Try Mathlon and see if it works. If there is not one that will, you will have to have the cache hard modded to 2/5 or 1/3 to overclock much over 750.

Yes Technonut is right, your gonna have to change the cache as the 700s run at 1/2. Use the Mathlon, its a good cache changing program and is a DOS resident program, so it starts before windows...
You shouldn't have any problems overclocking that 700 though..couple of things though...do not try to overclock via the FSB when using a GFD, not at least until you are stable using the GFD. Start at your default processor speed first. Make sure you have good cooling like an Alpha P7125. Keep the voltage the same as you move up in speed, then when the system won't take the move...thats when you move up the voltage...

These are just a few things that I've come across in my Athlon Classic overclocking adventures..
