Ok, here is what I tried. Went to Disk Management. Disk is only setup with a C drive. It shows the C drive and the Windows 7 system partition to the left of it. Here is what I tried.,

1. I tried to right click and delete the C drive, it was grayed out.
2. I tried to right click and delete the system partition, it was NOT grayed out but would not let me delete.
3. I right clicked on the Disk 0 and see the option of convert from Dynamic to Basic, but it is grayed out.

So, how to I convert, I dont have any volumes, only one partitio (C) and the system partition, but I cant convert back, any ideas ?
Thanks

why are you trying to convert from a a dynamic disk to a basic disc? Windows isn't going to allow you to delete system partition that windows is installed on while you are in windows.

Are you doing this from inside of Win7 or Vista? You'd definitely have to do this from the outside, like from the Win7 boot DVD in the System Repair mode. Also, the command-line-based DiskPart utility, available from the command line of Win7 boot DVD, will allow you to pretty much delete anything.

Thanks for replying.
The reason why I am doing this is because both my backup programs that I use to use dont support dynamic discs. They are Paragon Backup & Recovery and Macrium Reflect.

If someone could please recommend a third party backup software program that works with dynamic discs, I would appreciate it and wouldnt need to convert back to basic.

Any recommendations for such a program ?

Thanks again

StorageCraft's ShadowProtect Desktop software supports dynamic disks. ShadowProtect is very highly regarded in the small business server market because of its features. Particularly its ability to do hardware-independent restores of desktops and servers.
