Still a few BFG FX 5900/CoD bundles at Fry's

I just picked up a BFG Asylum FX 5900 video card, bundled with Call of Duty, for $199.99. There seem to be just a few of these bundles remaining.

They have RMA's, some with CoD, for $189.05. With unscrupulous idiots RMA'ing 5900 cards they've killed trying to flash the BIOS to 5950, I figured the extra $11 was cheap insurance against having to waste time in the Returns line.

I cant speak from experience with ATI cards, but what I can say is that the BFG 5900 is an overclocking *beast*. Easily OCs to beyond 5950 speeds. Or, if you want to risk it, you can flash the bios so that it is a 5950...

OC'd mine from 400/850 to 500/1000 now, and it is stable running far cry, everything maxed...

Which Fry's did you buy yours at? I checked the Fry's Campbell store last week and they didn't have any left...

I saw some at Fry's Palo Alto a few days ago. I personally grabbed the PNY 5900 at the same price. So far it is OC'n with no problems at all. Have it at 500/900 stable ... still going to try to push it some more.

Between a BFG or a PNY, you're better off to get the BFG. BFG has a TRUE lifetime warranty, whereas PNY's is a lifetime warranty to the products life cycle. Just some extra information. Also, BFG has 24/7 tech support.
