Sticky turn signal

My Honda Accord has a sticky turn signal that when you flip the signal on, it seems to stick for 2-3 seconds before it will start flashing. When it's cold, the delay may go 6-8 seconds and you could tell it struggles to become unstuck. I need to get this fixed or prob will get rear ended by some chick on a cell phone riding my tail one of these days. Is this an easy fix by swapping out a relay or something or do I need to lube up and go to the Honda dealership?
