Sticky Threads not sticky?

After exchanging several PMs with the mod, he/she suggested I post this here.

Not long after I registered I changed the Customization option "Would you like to see the most recent Replied To thread at the top?" to No. Sticky threads have never shown up at the top for me. In fact, it wasnt until I reinstalled Win98 about a year and a half ago, and wasn't logged in when I returned to AT that I realized what a sticky was. In any event, I've since gone through two installs of XP with newly formated HDs, and the stickies are never at the top once I set up my customizations. I always figured that that was a design decision and it was meant to be that way. After PMing the mod though, it seems that it's not supposed to be that way so I figured I'd post the bug, if it is one, here.

I noticed a post further down from someone who said that the Hot Deals forum rules wasn't showing up for them anymore. If they recently changed this customization, maybe that's their problem as well.

Let me know.

It's not a bug, that is as intended, but thanks for the report. I believe that option is going to be removed in a future version, but I can't confirm that at this point. It is farily useless, as if you aren't listing threads by the most recent reply, you aren't really following the threads for that category...
