Sticky request in Software forums

EVERY week/day there is a post requesting "Backup Software" recommendations and the same answers and discussions are had.

Could we get a sticky created so that its not repeated over and over.
 
Why not make a FAQ or huge compilation of "Backup Software" yourself then ask the mods to sticky it 😀 Could cover all sort of ranges from purchased software to freeware stuff, etc. I'm sure there are people would be willing to help contribute to the effort.
