Sticky request in Software forums

EVERY week/day there is a post requesting "Backup Software" recommendations and the same answers and discussions are had.

Could we get a sticky created so that its not repeated over and over.

Why not make a FAQ or huge compilation of "Backup Software" yourself then ask the mods to sticky it Could cover all sort of ranges from purchased software to freeware stuff, etc. I'm sure there are people would be willing to help contribute to the effort.
