I have a Razer Diamondback mouse and, whether through my own fault or natural causes (probably my own fault), the left button has started to 'stick'. Obviously i'm a gamer. It's ok when i just tap the button but if i hold it down for more than a second or two it will stick, usually for an extra second but sometimes more.

I've tried to clean under the button using q-tips and 90% alcohol, this works temporarily but after about 15-30 minutes it reverts back to sticking.

Anyone got any ideas about what I can do to solve this. I would really appreciate any help because, quite frankly, it's very annoying, and thats putting it nicely .. ;).

Hate that POS mouse, I had 2 of them. The first one the side buttons didn't work at all, the second they worked after a couple days (weird). You also can't hold down the mouse1 button and use the mousewheel at the same time, because it rubs against the wheel when you depress it. Such an awesome mouse, it annoyed the sh!t out of me and I got my money back :p Good luck man, I'd say take it back to where you got it and just complain.. people usually are good about exchanges etc at B&M stores. Also my mx510 can be moved faster without skipping than the diamondback (I play with extremely low sensitivity so that's important). Go figure :) Sorry to rant, but I hated that POS. Good luck with it dude, lol.
