does anyone know what that sticker thing is that comes attached to products or inside of product packages: the design on it looks like a _simple_ maze or _simple_ circuit board design? The sticker isn't meant to be part of the product... just comes with some products. Mine is colored silver and blue.

maybe it was purple and silver... anyways thanks for that insight... i figured that it would be for theft deterrent.

Yup, it's an RF (I think, or electromagnetic) tag that is tuned to a certain frequency and sets off those sensors at doors for shoplifters. They are deactivated at the cash register when you pay.

Take them off of the products in the store, and place it on someone without them knowing. When they walk out they set the alarms off. 😀
